Fonduta is a specialty from the Aosta Valley in northwestern Italy. A mixture of real Fontina and other delicious ingredients, this ready-to-serve preparation arrives in an easy-open can and may be heated on the stove or in the microwave. Considered to be the Italian version of fondue, it can also be used as sauce for polenta, pasta, rice, meat, and vegetables. Try it on pizza instead of mozzarella, or spread onto bread, crackers, or canapés for a mouthwatering snack.
