Description

Scientific name: Alchemilla mollis Common name: Lady’s mantle Type: Perennial Exposure: Half-shadow, Sun Color: Lime green Height: 30 cm – 40 cm Bloom months: May - June

Alchemilla mollis, Lady’s mantle, is a charming plant with frothy lime-green flowers and neatly pleated apple-green greyish, fan-shaped leaves which persist all seasons. The soft, pale green foliage forms low mounds that work well as ground cover or edging in garden beds. The lady’s mantle grows well in the sun and also in more shaded areas, which makes it a versatile and frequently used plant in many designs.
