Landscape Collision System helps you to get collision response from the GPU created details using displacement map. This system is highly accurate and optimized. One of the many applications of this system is to get collision response from the landscape details.
Creating highly detailed landscapes by using Height Maps can cost performance & reduces FPS. To achieve such details, designers generally rely on GPU such as “World Displacement” but GPU doesn’t generate collisions because collision calculations are handled by CPU.
GTMCS provide collisions support for landscape details, so that the developers can perform all collision dependent tasks like “IK Foots Placement” etc.
