Description

Yehu 椰胡 (Yewu in Cantonese, Đàn gáo in Vietnamese) is a bowed-string instrument with two strings. The resonator is made of coconut shell. The bridge is made of seashell. It can be found along the coast in South China and Vietnam. In Hong Kong, it is commonly used as an accompaniment instrument for Naamyam 南音.
