Trilobite Fossil: An extinct marine arthropod, with a distinct segmented exoskeleton, thriving during the Paleozoic era. Their existance spans approximately 270 million years; from the early Cambrian to the end of the Permian, with fossils commonly found in sedimentary rocks. Varying in size, some species measure a few millimeters in length, others - over two feet . Some were predators, scavengers, or filter-feeders, while others were herbivores.
