Description

The Noor antishipping missile is a Iranian copy of the Chinese C-802 which was developed by the PLAN in the late 1990s. The C-802 is a subsonic missile with a large 200kg warhead. The Noor is equipped with an active terminal radar seeker activated during the last 30km of flight, the range of the missile is around 200 km. It is equivalent in performance to 2nd generation Western anti-shipping missiles of similar size. The Noor is mounted on a civilian light transport erector and is designed to blend in with civilians and be fired in saturation attacks.
