The Mediterranean scallop (Pecten jacobaeus) is a species of scallop (a bivalve salt-water clam) endemic of the Mediterranean sea. In the Middle-Ages it was associated with Saint Jacob, hence the species name, and became the symbol of pilgrims. The original model was generated in Photoscan and then manually retopologized in Blender.
