Description

Caelestiventus is one of the oldest known pterosaurs that lived over 200 million years ago during the late Triassic. It’s known from a single specimen from northeastern Utah, which includes most of its 7 inch skull. It lived in the desert and had a wingspan of almost 5 feet.
