Description

Disclaimer: This is originally a CAD model drawn in Fusion 360 as a study to assist myself in learning how to make a classical / flamenco guitar. I haven’t put any effort in tessellation / rendering, thus it is NOT a 3D animation / game-ready object.

Santos Hernandez (1874-1943) is one of the most important guitar luthiers in the history. His exceptional skills were recognized quite early in his career when he became known as the builder of the Manuel Ramirez guitar of 1912 that was owned and played by Andres Segovia. Flamenco guitars are known to have a bright, more percussive sound and lower string actions than classical guitars.

Special thanks to Roy Courtnall, as this model is based on the plans provided in his book Making Master Guitars, and Dima ‘DiAleksi’ Tsvetkov, that I have borrowed his model of geard tuning pegs (https://grabcad.com/library/tuning-peg-geared-1).
