Description

The castle, its park and the water tower were built in 1917. The plans for the park are by the landscaper Charles Bouhana, the castle was probably the work of the architect Marmisse, while the water tower is by Le Corbusier.

The estate, bought by the commune, was divided up and partly subdivided during the second half of the 20th century and the water tower, disused, is today outside the estate, on the other side of the rue Pierre Vincent. The building was classified as a historic monument by decree of July 3, 2006. In 2011, the park received the remarkable garden label.

The park has been being restored since 2012 under the leadership of Jean-Marc Depuydt. The project, worth 3 million euros, will last 10 years7. The broken stained glass windows were repaired by master glassmaker Bernard Fournier.
