Fish Behavior and Data Management
  • Feeding Schedule: Each fish will now eat at specific times of the day. Unique eating times can be configured in the Fish DataTable.
  • Fish Reactions: Fish will get scared if the player approaches too closely or if the float collides with the water.
Fishing Mechanics
  • Telescope Rod: Added functionality to equip and unequip the telescope rod.
  • Line Animation: The fishing line now follows the rod animation with spinning spool rotation.
  • Targeting Decal: Toggle for the targeting decal added.
  • Swing Rod & Release Line: Swing the rod and release the line in the correct location.
  • Baiting Fish: Implemented baiting mechanics.
  • Rumble Feedback: Added rumble feedback for more immersive gameplay.
  • Hook and Bait Cycling: Players can now cycle through hooks and bait. The array of hooks needed to attract specific fish can be adjusted in the Fish DataTable.

  • Reeling: Improved reeling mechanics.
  • Camera Zoom: Dynamic camera zoom from top-down view to first-person mode.
  • Fish Spawning: Added random fish respawner and fish respawn functionality.
  • Fish to Hand: Enhanced interaction for transferring fish to hand after capture.
Records and Scoring
  • Fish Book: Track your catches with the new Fish Book feature.
  • Records: Save and load records, with options for auto-save, initial load, and saving upon catching new fish.
  • Record Keeping: Track and display records for the longest cast, biggest fish (weight and length), and overall score.
Game Environment and Controls
  • Controller Support: Full controller support added.
  • Fish Variety: Easily change the type or amount of fish in the environment.
  • Random Fish Size: Implemented randomization of fish size for more varied gameplay.
