"DZ Trees - Date Palm" is a new high quality package of palm trees that only uses opaque blending in its' master materials. In other words, these models are made without any masked textures to ensure the best performance when using Nanite in Unreal Engine. All the palms are new and different versions compared to our previous palm tree models.

These new models migrate easily to all the other DZ Tree packages. Just migrate the tree mesh folder (and all the other files that UE recommends) to an other UE project and you are good to go. Everything has been planned carefully beforehand to get your working experience in UE as simple as possible.

With these amazing palm trees you can give realism to your game or to what ever projects you are working with. It's good to check the screen shots above and 4K videos from our YouTube channel to realize the quality of this product. Amazing look and the most realistic wind behavior with good FPS rate is a combo that is just hard to beat. Get yourself to our YouTube channel and see the quality yourself.

Full Nanite support:

All the trees are high-res Nanite meshes and are using Nanite by default. Everything is optimized to achieve the best performance without compromising quality.

Full Lumen support:

This product supports Lumen in all the supported engine versions mentioned in the beginning of this product page (UE 5.1 and above). Lumen can be activated in "Project Settings" => "Rendering" => "Global Illumination" => "Dynamic Global Illumination Method" => "Lumen". More information about Lumen can be found in Unreal Engine 5.0 documentation.

Efficient and highly user-friendly materials:

Master materials (2 pieces) are very easy to understand and effective. Material instances created from them allow easy customization of trees and wind effects according to your wishes. Wind effects are very cheap for PC performance, yet most realistic. MPC (material parameter collection) is added for easy controlling of wind power of all the palm trees at the same time by tweaking only one number. It's good to watch tutorials and demo videos to get an idea of all the useful features that these versatile materials offer. This package includes all the same material features/options than our previous palm tree packages except adjusting the leaf amount. That feature is not included in this package because of the opaque blending method and the lack of opacity mask textures.
