Description

Asset comes with an softbody dynamic PA build and needed BP's, Ultimate material, and SKM with 5 LODs and other features like single worm spawn. This asset is part of Worm Series and Soft body series.


As part of Soft Body series of assets, this asset is physically dynamic and can be simulated or used as a character or NPC. Ball can mount on other characters and control them (parasitizing). Soft body assets also have real time dynamics to mimic liquid or jelly-like overall look.


Asset Features:

  • Fully physical 2 skeletal meshes with 2 physical asset presets. (one is worm ball and other is mortar. also a single worm SKM added.)

  • 48 Animations.

  • 2 BPs: 1 for ball Character and 1 for prey/mount. Player can Parasitize/control prey. also few small blueprints are added as bonus.

  • Spawn: wormball spawns single worms while running or on falling. those worms tries to come back to wormball (uses ai nav). if expires lifetime or goes far than reachable distance goes to underground and destroys itself.

  • Ultimate material with rich worm related settings.

  • Relax/stiffness HUD for better feedback and understanding.

  • Simple game menu (Can be seen in the demo).

  • Wormball SKM with 5 LODs. LOD 0: 104.053; LOD 5: 24.925

  • Stuck fixer feature will fix and save body from a stuck narrow area.


material is a lightweight and highly optimized. This material gives you many settings like, Noise movements, scaling, bulge waves, thickness, pulse, SSS, Gradient, hue and more. Even using and combining all of these features, material still remains a lightweight and green color in in shader complexity view


Asset Preview



Important to know: 

- All previews are rendered in Unreal Engine 5.3 and screenshots were taken in 4.26. preview video done in UE4.26

- Physics are different in UE5 because of a physics engine change. PhysX and Chaos Physics Systems  physics also changed in 5.1 and every newer version will be receiving their own bug fixes or changes.
