Carved Stone Head, St Andrew’s Church, Langton, North Yorkshire
Carved stone head high on the north wall of the chancel. St Andrew’s is a largely 19th century church, with some reused earlier fabric, of which this is certainly a part. Undated, but stylistically and given its context probably no later than 13th century and quite possibly considerably earlier.
