This palace belonged to a textile bussinismman of the city of Alcoy (Spain) called Enrique García Peidro, whose nickname was “Escaló” (Step). The building was designed by the architect Vicente Pascual Pastor in 1906 and finished in 1908. It is a clear example of Valencian Art Nouveau architecture of the early twentieth century.
