General description:

This is a explosives and tactical equipment VFX pack to cover your essentials. Suitable for any project going for a realistic look and feel, such as first person shooters, third person shooters, strategy games, turn-based tactical games and more. It draws inspiration from popular franchises like Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Helldivers and Rainbow Six with real life footage as reference.

This pack contains effects designed for fragmentation grenades, incendiary grenades/molotov cocktails, smoke grenades, gas grenades, land mines, cluster grenades, airburst rockets and thermite grenades/charges. On top of that, the smoke and gas grenades have 2 versions each, one that's more instantaneous and one that builds up gradually.

They all use high resolution flipbook textures that I have reprocessed and optimized to leave a smaller VRAM footprint and measures have been taken to have them still appear voluminous like VDB's.

Controls & customizability:

The systems have exposed parameters for you to make general adjustments to colors, duration, delays, sizes, detonation radius and launch angles where relevant.

All materials and instances include controls for depth fade (for reducing clipping if effects intersect with geometry) and distortion in case you want even more variability in how the effects look at the cost of a tiny bit of performance.
