Description
This is my second project while learning Blender, and I really focused on using modifiers more extensively this time—especially booleans and bevels. It was a lot of fun, but I still found the UV editor frustrating, and the limitation of not being able to apply multiple modifiers at once was a bit annoying. I also dabbled in sculpting within Blender, but the experience felt sluggish and uncomfortable, so I opted to create the floor in ZBrush instead.
All the bakes and texturing were done in Substance Painter, and overall, it was a great learning experience. I feel like I’ve made significant progress with Blender. So, what’s next?
This model is heavily inspired by Maxime Plasse’s drawing, "The Watchtower."
