“El Molí de la Penya” also known as “Molí dels Corbí” (Crag’s Mill aka Corbí’s Mill) is located in “el Barracanc del Molins” (Gorge of the mills) in the city of Ibi (Spain). This structure is probably one of the most antique buildings in the town (1511) along with the church. This water mill used a water turbine wich drove the mechanical process of grinding grain into flour. The internal mechanism was made of wood but currently has disapered and today only an edifice remains of the mill. “El Molí de la Penya” was in operation from 1511 until 1931, when the development of new technologies made it obsolete.
