This pack contains 24 pulsating and glowing crystals blueprints and 48 static meshes (24 static meshes are unique and the other 24 are low resolution versions just in case you want to use them for Mobile or even VR). For every unique crystal static mesh, there is a corresponding pulsating and glowing crystal blueprint. All the blueprints contain the higher resolution mesh version of that crystal, but if you want to use this pack for Mobile, VR it would be wise to replace the crystal static mesh of the blueprint with the low resolution version.


There are 2 types of pulsations inside every blueprint. The material itself is pulsating (emissive pulsating material) and the blueprint also contains a dynamic lighting which pulsate at the same rhythm with the emissive material.

As the title says, every crystal can be customized. After inserting it into your map, you can change the pulsating length (rhythm), the color of the light it emits, the attenuation sphere of the light and also the intensity of the light can be easily adjust according to your unique requirements.


If you intend to use the pack for mobile or VR or other low end devices, beside replacing the high quality mesh with the very optimized mesh, you can also remove the light component of the crystal blueprints. The crystal will still glow and pulsate because of its emissive material which pulsate. If you choose to do this, there will be a very minor impact to the visual quality.


This product supports Lumen for versions 5.2 +. If You want to use the pack at it's full potential, I recommend using Lumen. In order to enable Lumen (if it is not already enabled) you should go to Project Settings/Engine/Rendering and make sure you have the following setup:


  1. Dynamic Global Illumination Method - LUMEN
  2. Reflection Method - LUMEN
  3. Shadow Map Method - Virtual Shadow Maps
