Media 0 for listing Minolta SRT 101 - photogrammetry

Description

3D scan of a Minolta SRT 101 camera. That specific model belonged to my grandfather. It is a remarkable device created by the Japanese company, Minolta, in 1966. This classic SLR camera is renowned for its sturdy design, precise metering, and versatile features. It was one of the first cameras to use the through-the-lens (TTL) exposure metering system, which measures the light intensity at the focal plane.

It was one of the most popular cameras of its time, selling over three million units worldwide. Despite being discontinued in 1981, it remains a significant part of the photographic history.

Reconstructed with Reality Capture (239 images).

The Blender file includes a glass material, although it’s not a realistic material. I used it for a personal project with that particular style.
