Description

Located approximately 1 km north-west of the 60 dome mosque the single domed Chunakhola mosque is believed to have been constructed in the 15th century. Built in the same Khan Jahan Ali style present throughout Bagerhat the mosque measures nearly 14 meters by 14 meters. The eastern façade has three arched openings to the prayer hall with some intricate terracotta tiles around the entrances. The mosque is supported by four circular turrets on each corner of the monument that serve as buttresses.
