Calorie counting isn’t for everyone. I never count calories.
I don’t want to do the math! (I hate it.)
The key to improving (for the long term) is to take baby steps.
Remember, it’s a new skill to learn. Try these:
Keep healthy food readily available. If you don’t buy it, you’ll never eat it.
Only shop on the outer ring of the store. It is where all the fruit and veggies live - try not going into the inner aisles where biscuits & treats, processed foods, and the bad (albeit tasty) stuff lives
Keep it simple. Lots of vegetables, lean meats, and fish.
Eat more fat. Yes, for real. Healthy fat is really good for you (and tasty!). Avocados, eggs, nuts, natural peanut butter, olive oil, fish. All good for you.
Try and give up the Diet Cokes - swap these for water.
