Don’t look for Karen & Albert in a show room: you won’t find them in a studio, gallery, or store. These tireless treasure-hunters roam from auction to antique show, searching for the next great find to scoop up and share. The traveling twosome was fortunate to find this early 20th Century Ikebana basket for floral arrangements, formed with lashings reminiscent of flower tendrils. This lovely white bamboo basket, also known as a hanakago, is from the Taisho period, which rangers from about 1912 to 1926.
Basket is signed by the artist on the bottom. This gently used vintage product is in good condition. Shows some signs of age.
