The racks of King’s Road Vintage are full of standout styles for guys and girls. But some pieces are true superstars. Envy-inducing designer duds from decades past that will get the wearer stopped on the street. Like this strapless tiki dress from Hawaiian shirt king Alfred Shaheen. Not only perfect for summer parties, the mid-century frock has barely been worn. Thankfully, the trio of lovely ladies behind the Austin emporium is sharing this find with us, right here—no trips to Texas or rack searching required.

1960s Alfred Sheehan strapless dress with undersea print. Wrap-front skirt with boned bodes and shirred, zip-up back. Length (shoulder to hem): 36". Bust: 30"–34". Waist: Up to 25". This gently used vintage garment is in excellent condition, rarely worn. Likely missing a matching shawl.
