Sylvia Plachy was the first photographer to shoot the opening photograph of the legendary Goings On About Town section of The New Yorker. In her work, she explores the city from the inside out. In After the Dance, Jacob’s Pillow 2005, she captures a hidden glance of dancers after a performance. This high-quality giclée print comes to us from Aperture, a nonprofit organization committed to the advancement of photography.

"After the Dance, Jacob's Pillow, 2005." C-Print. Limited edition of 40. Signed and numbered by the artist. Ships flat in an archival paper folder. Image dimensions: W 13.25” H 8.88”. Overall dimensions: W 14” H 11”.

Proceeds help benefit artists, maintain the quality of Aperture’s publications and programming, and support the organization’s mission to connect the photo community with its audiences, in print, in person, and online.
