A smart, flexible piece, the Componibili was dreamed up by Anna Castelli Ferrieri, a pioneering Italian architect and designer who cofounded Kartell in 1949. This modular unit is designed to be grouped or stacked with other Componibilis, creating playful, practical storage formations that can be easily moved around. Now in production for more than 30 years, the Componibili can be found in the permanent collections of MoMA and the George Pompidou Centre. Put it in your home or office for a charismatic yet highly useful modern accent.

Italian furniture company Kartell is renowned for its commitment to high design and its ingenious use of plastic molds. It was founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, who introduced plastic as a material for innovative and affordable home products. Among Kartell’s most iconic designs are Philippe Starck’s Louis Ghost chair and Ferruccio Laviani’s Bourgie lamp.
