The title may be borrowed from a saccharine-coated ballad by Culture Club, but this idiosyncratic interpretation of Antonio Pollaiuolo’s “Battle of Ten Naked Men” is anything but sugary. Winters re-imagines the subjects of the Renaissance engraving as baby-headed warriors battling insectoid monsters. This screen print is a collaboration with Californian illustrator Michael Wertz. You’ll never look at Renaissance art the same again.
