Throughout his brief career, Keith Haring (1958–1990) electrified the art world with his kinetic painting style and instantly recognizable, folk art- and cartoon-inspired icons. He started as a NYC street artist in the late ’70s, holding concert/dance club/art shows in various low-rent spots all over lower Manhattan, and by 1986 the then famous Haring had shown in galleries all over the world. His black-and-white work shows off a masterful economy of lines, creating images whose power is often generated by the expert simplicity of their cartooning.

This framed art print is a page from a catalogue published by Gallery Lucio Amelio in Naples, Italy in 1983. Edition of 300. Continuous tone print. Framed. White 4-ply mat with white painted wood frame.
