This four print series is a screen printed reproduction of tempera paintings found in one of the previously undiscovered notebooks of Jim Flora, a prolific commercial illustrator. Flora, who died in 1998, is best known for his playful and sometimes irreverent jazz and classical album covers dating from the 1940s and ‘50s.

Printed as part of a collaboration between Aesthetic Apparatus, the Jim Flora estate, author Irwin Chusid and archivist Barb Economon. Three-color screen print on archival off-white, blue, pink and red stock.
