This striking photograph of the Earth was taken from the VIIRS instrument aboard NASA's most recently launched Earth-observing satellite—Suomi NPP. A composite image, it was created with a number of photos that capture separate swaths of the Earth's surface and features a nearly cloud-free North America, the Gulf of Mexico, and the vast Pacific Ocean on January 4, 2012. Hang this beautiful image from space on your walls and let your imagination launch.

Unframed. Printed on museum-grade paper with fine quality digital giclée printing using up to 12-color archival inks. Paper has no optical brighteners, which will extend the life of your print. Color, exposure, and other digital adjustments were made to this historic image, with care taken to maintain a direct connection to the original. Photo credit: NASA.
