Leslie Mittelberg founded Swahili African Modern to bring enchanting African handicraft to a global audience, while supporting the artisan communities responsible for it. Wolof women in rural Senegal created this Hamper. The vessel is intricately handwoven from dried cattail stalks and strips of salvaged plastic. Fusing artistry and function, it offers high-quality storage brimming with cultural significance.

Each item will vary slightly in size and appearance due to its handmade nature.
