It takes a unique turn of mind to be inspired by a tarp, but Hideo Wakamatsu has transformed all of that tough, water-resistant utility into the sporty and handsome Tarpaulin check-in-size suitcase. Foregoing a weighty and restrictive metal frame, the Tarpaulin uses four buckles to define its shape. Cinch them down when you’re traveling light; let them out when you’re packing the whole wardrobe. The Tarpaulin is all about defying constraints, a great reason to travel in the first place.

  • Plenty of storage pockets, strategically placed to make packing easier and to maximize every inch of space
  • Electric blue interior lining
  • Dimensions: 25" x 19" x 10"
  • Weight: 8 lbs
