1930s-1940s 202 Metal Desk Phone

Brother and sister Joe and Janette Antone scour the country looking for old phones and personal ephemera from the 1900s through the 1990s and bring these bits of history back to life in the 21st century. This 202 metal desk phone was most likely produced in the '30s. A cousin to the earlier candlestick model phones this piece is an example of early telecom advancements. Begging for the right design history buff with this fully functional phone you can reenact Mark Twain's early tirades or maybe even your favorite scene from His Girl Friday."202 Metal Desk Phone with network and bell box. Like the candlestick phone and the 102, the 202 contained only the switchhook and switch. The network and ringer were contained in a subset that was mounted on the wall.
