Don Freedman Wall Tapestry

Mid Mod Mom founder Beatriz Macias didn't know thrifting existed until she moved stateside from her native Colombia when she and her husband furnished their west coast apartment with Salvation Army finds. These days the former architect puts her discerning eye to use by rooting out Mid-Century wares and crafty masterpieces each with its own distinct art-inspired flair. As you browse this collection you'll see that the inspired undertones and exotic flavor of her first-class finds can't be beat."Ideal for infusing your room with elegance, this large Don Freedman jute and silk wall tapestry was made in India for Interlude Inc. circa 1983. The natural setting creates an air of serenity in your space. Labeled and signed. This gently used vintage product is in good condition. No stains or damage to the jute. Because the tapestry was stored rolled up, the cardboard inserts inside the leaves have curled up. There is also a gap between the body and the legs of the flamingo. All of these could be easily fixed.Country of Origin: VI
