Giusti: Rome LP

You might not be able to really judge an album by its cover, but you sure can survey the cultural importance of LP design in this collection of framed LPs presented by New Documents. Providing the perfect canvas for artists and photographers the album cover became a forum for innovation in design where the consumer was deemed the final critic."Rome 35/MM" LP design 1964 by George Giusti. A striking illustration of a human face sporting the stereotypical "Caesar" haircut atop swatches of color taken from the Italian flag. All of Giusti's illustrations for the 35/MM series are supurb but maybe because of his Italian heritage and graphic training (thus his closeness to the subject matter) this cover is among his best. Framed in a black record frame and ready to hang. This gently used vintage product is in good condition. Shows some signs of age. No LP."Country of Origin: US
Material: Printed Ink, Paper
