Glaser Dylan Poster

New Documents has collected a wide range of objects created by one of America's most important design firms the wildly influential Push Pin Studios. Founded by Milton Glaser Seymour Chwast Reynold Ruffins and Ed Sorel in 1954—graduates all of New York's The Cooper Union—Push Pin designed posters such as this Original Bob Dylan Poster. Milton Glaser's second most famous design after his “I♥NY” logo Body Dylan was created in 1966 and shows the singer/songwriter in silhouette with a wild mane of color that (if you look closely) spells Elvis' name."Milton Glaser's seminal 1966 poster for Bob Dylan. This is an early printing from the original edition, and NOT one of the authorized reproductions" that are more commonly seen. A similar example was acquired by The Museum of Modern Art in 1983. Offset lithograph. Unframed. This is a vintage poster and not a contemporary reprint This gently used vintage product is in good condition. Shows some signs of age.
