Josef Glass Coasters
Based on Josef Albers' glass Skyscrapers series created at Bauhaus in 1929, this limited-edition set includes four glass coasters in yellow, black, white, and blue. To create the original works each an exploration and showcase of Albers' interest in Modernist architecture Albers used a sandblasting technique generally reserved for the engraving of headstones. The result is a highly original, unmistakable piece of Bauhaus design. Out of production and now ultra-rare, these coaster sets are the last available from the Albers Foundation.
