Travertine & Stainless Ashtray
Mid Mod Mom founder Beatriz Macias didn't know thrifting existed until she moved stateside from her native Colombia when she and her husband furnished their West Coast apartment with Salvation Army finds. These days the former architect puts her discerning eye to use by rooting out mid-century wares and masterpieces each with its own distinct art-inspired flair. From vintage cookbooks and sectional sofas to a beautiful Pegasus mobile the inspired undertones and exotic flavor of her first-class finds can't be beat."
Likely from the 1970s, this mod ashtray is made of travertine (a form of limestone) with a clean, stainless steel bowl inside of it. Possibly made in Italy, where travertine objects typically originate from. This gently used vintage product is in good condition. Ashtray is in good vintage condition but for a couple chips to two lower corners. Chips are hardly noticeable thanks to the porous nature of the stone.Country of Origin: VI
