Indectis — New Tracing Shapes for Unreal Engine
Indectis is a high-performance Unreal Engine plugin designed to feel and work like a default part of the engine itself. Instead of relying on simple line or sphere traces, with Indectis you can make use of three new and complex shapes, cones, rings, box ring and sector volumes — all with precise filtering and debug visualization.
Perfect for abilities, perception systems, targeting logic, and more.
Core Features
Cone, Ring, Box Ring and Sector Detection — Tracing shapes that are very common for action games to have..
Precise Hit Filtering — Detect only what truly lies inside your shape — no false positives.
Unique Hits Filtering — All multi-trace functions have a feature to only show unique hits i.e. no duplicate hits for same actors.
Organic Unreal Engine UX — Built to seem like a part of the engine itself, if you've ever used any other trace functions then these are no different.
Blueprint & C++ Ready — Just like the in-built trace functions, these can be used either in blueprints of C++
